Milton is a town located in the center of Saratoga County New York (NY) and does not border any of the other counties that border Saratoga such as Albany, Warren or Washington counties. The Town of Milton was established in the late 1790's from parts of the Town of Ballston and the Town of Greenfield and today is the fastest growing town in New York State. The Kayaderosseras Creek runs from Ballston Spa through the town of Miltion where it empties into the Saratoga Lake.

About Milton, NY

West Milton is the home of the Kesselring Site for Naval Nuclear Propulsion research and training. This site was established in 1948 and is a major employer today. Most of the residents of the Town of Milton are served by the Ballston Spa Central School District. Students in the northern and eastern parts of the town attend schools in the Saratoga Springs City School District while others in the western area are of Milton attend the Galway Central School District.

West Milton -- A hamlet near the west town line on County Road 49. It was formerly called "Spiers Corners" and "Clutes Corners".
Saratoga County Airport -- An airport north of Ballston Spa.
Ballston Spa -- The north part of the Village of Ballston Spa, which is the county seat, is in the southeast part of Milton.
Bloodville -- A former location near Ballston Spa and the site of American Axe & Tool Company.
Factory Village -- A hamlet and suburb northwest of Ballston Spa on County Road 45. The name is derived from two paper mills.
Frink Corners -- A location in the northwest part of the town at the town line.
Kesselring Site -- A Naval Nuclear Propulsion research and training facility in the western part of the Town of Wilton (West Milton).
Milton Center -- A hamlet northwest of Ballston Spa at the junction of County Roads 43 and 49.
North Ballston Spa -- A community at the north border of Ballston Spa.
North Milton -- A hamlet east of Rock City Falls on NY-29 at County Road 59.
Rock City Falls -- A hamlet in the northwest part of the town on NY-29 at the junction of County Road 49.
